The UNESCO Cluster Office for the Caribbean in partnership with Microsoft in an alliance with Digital Koru offer three free webinars for the English-Speaking Caribbean to learn how to effectively use and maximize Microsoft 365 and Teams for remote learning.

In a bid to continue generating impact, Microsoft will be providing three sessions for different audiences and focus.

1.Audience: Teachers Webinar

Learn how to use Microsoft 365 and Teams to empower teaching in any modality: face-to-face, hybrid, and distance learning in the Caribbean.

Date, Time & Capacity: Monday, September 28th, from 5pm to 7pm AST / Capacity: 20,000 attendees

Digital KORU and Microsoft invite all K-12 and university faculty to a webinar on how to use Microsoft 365 and Teams to empower teaching in any modality: face-to-face, hybrid, and distance learning.

We will discuss how to build a virtual classroom using Microsoft Teams and how to integrate additional applications provided by Microsoft 365 and other developers into the virtual classroom. This topic will be discussed from the perspective of the opportunities and challenges of teaching and learning in the Caribbean.

Dr. Eliut Flores, CEO of Digital KORU and tenured professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technologies of the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras will be the webinar lecturer. All participants will be able to ask questions through the live chat and Dr. Flores and his team will answer them.

Date, Time & Capacity Tuesday, September 29th, from 10am to 12pm AST /Capacity: 250 attendees

Interactive workshop to discuss how to use Microsoft 365 and Teams to empower learning in any modality: face-to-face, hybrid, and distance learning.

Digital KORU and Microsoft invite leaders of K-12, higher education institutions, and government education leaders in the Caribbean to an online leadership workshop to discuss strategies to use Microsoft 365 and Teams to empower teaching and learning in any modality: face-to-face, hybrid, and distance learning.

Dr. Eliut Flores, CEO of Digital KORU and tenured professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technologies of the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras will be the webinar lecturer, in collaboration with Microsoft Education leads in the region. They will discuss how to incorporate Microsoft 365 and Teams in the ICT mix to build virtual classrooms that also integrate additional applications provided by Microsoft 365 and other developers into the educational process. This topic will be discussed from the perspective of the opportunities and challenges of teaching and learning in the Caribbean.
Participants will be able to ask spoken or written questions in the live meeting and chat. Dr. Flores and his team will reserve ample time to address these questions during the workshop. The seminar will be delivered in English.
