FAO Representative pays courtesy call on Minister of Education
Representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Ms. Gillian Smith met with the Honourable Minister of Education Priya Manickchand today to discuss how the agency can support the development of the education sector with an emphasis on the school feeding programme.
Chief Planning Officer of the Ministry, Ms. Nicola Johnson also participated in the discussion.

Strengthening and transforming the national school feeding programme was among priority matters discussed when Dr. Gillian Smith the new Representative for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations to Guyana, paid a courtesy call on Dr. the Hon. Nicolette Henry, Minister of Education.
