Thirty-nine desktop computers donated to three Primary Schools

The Regional Executive Officer, Mr Denis Jaikaran Snr today handed out thirty-nine desktop computers to three Primary Schools; Aurora, Fisher and 8th of May. These computers will be available for students and teachers to use in Air Conditioned laboratories.

These Computers along with UPS, Printer and Internet Router was provided by the Ministry of Education in their drive to implement Information Communication Technology in all of the Schools across the Pomeroon Supenaam Region. news 20190114 17Free High-Speed Internet is also provided in collaboration with the National Data Management Authority of Guyana.

The Department of Education along with the Regional Democratic Council is now responsible to train, service and provide basic utilities to have these computer laboratory running throughout the school year.
