‘Math Camp’ underway at QC

Instead of spending their entire vacation on easygoing activities, a group of enterprising youths have opted to boost their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics skills by attending free courses offered by the Queen’s College of Guyana Alumni Association (NY), Inc.

Social Cohesion receives 60 more bicycles

Minister of Social Cohesion, Ms. Amna Ally, received 60 bicycles from the Guyana Bahamas Association as a contribution to President David Granger’s Boats, Buses, Bicycles plus Breakfast and Books (‘Five Bs’) programme.
The Ministry of Social Cohesion, through the Office of the Presidency, in collaboration with the Regional Department of Education, presented the top Region Seven performers in the Annual Grade Six Assessment 2016 with bicycles and book bags. The occasion was at the St. John the Baptist Primary School.

379 graduate from YEST programme
