The fourth Information Communication Technology (ICT) training programme was launched at the Essequibo Technical Institute (ETI) by the Office of the First Lady, in collaboration with the Social Protection Ministry’s Board of Industrial Training (BIT).

Police reach out to Essequibo youths

Some 36 youths are currently being trained in a skilled area at the Essequibo Technical Institute, through efforts of the Guyana Police Force’s ‘G’ Division.

The training programme commenced on October 03, 2016 and the exercise is geared at equipping them with a skill that will make them eligible for employment on the job market.
