The Honourable Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand met with British High Commissioner to Guyana, Jane Miller, Her Majesty’s Deputy Trade Commissioner (HMDTC) for Latin America and the Caribbean Department for International Trade (DIT), Mr. Spencer Mahoney, the Caribbean Regional Director (DIT), Ms. Laura Ferguson and Country Director for Trade and Investment (DIT), Mr. Sherwyn Naughton.
The purpose of the visit was to facilitate discussions on the UK – Guyana Bilateral Trade Relations and to examine opportunities for collaboration and partnership on projects in the education sector while exploring opportunities for UK investment in Guyana.
