Renewed curriculum for nursery to be piloted in 103 schools

THE Ministry of Education has concluded a five-day workshop on “Piloting of the Renewed Curriculum” for the nursery level at Grand Coastal Hotel.
At this workshop, 57 master trainers were trained, and they will be responsible for training nursery teachers across the country.

Solar power for learning channel’s facilities in Rupununi

A contract  was yesterday signed between the Ministry of Education and Gafsons Industries Limited for solar photovoltaic systems at the Guyana Learning Channel facilities  in Aishalton and Karasabai in Region Nine.

Guyana inks US$44 Million loan agreement with World Bank to boost education programme

Education Minister Priya Manickchand welcomed the agreement and stated that the project aligns with the Education Ministry’s goals to improve and expand access to quality secondary education while simultaneously developing the country’s TVET sector.
