    Guyana has emerged at the top of this year’s Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE), Director of Operations at the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), Dr. Nicole Manning announced Thursday.

    A team from the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC®) has arrived in Guyana to announce the results of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC®) examinations and the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE®).

    A team from the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC®) has arrived in Guyana to announce the results of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC®) examinations and the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE®).

  • Guyana’s CAPE performance higher than regional average

    At the 2021 sitting of the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE), the performance of Guyana’s students was marginally higher than the rest of the region. In Guyana, 88 per cent of the CAPE candidates attained acceptable Grades One to Five passes as opposed to the Caribbean’s 87 per cent pass rate.

  • Guyana’s CSEC results higher than regional average; students topped 20 subjects

    The performance of Guyanese candidates at the 2021 sitting of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations has been better than the regional average according to Director of Operations at the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), Dr. Nicole Manning.

  • NGSA results to be announced on October 15, 2021

    The results of the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) 2021 will be announced on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 10:00h at the National Centre for Education Resource Development (NCERD) at Kingston, Georgetown.
