1.The Ministry of Education invites sealed bids from Reputable Suppliers for the following:
1.Supply of a 7-seater Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) to the Ministry of Education- EE 7M
2.Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures, specified in the Procurement Act, 2003 and Regulations, 2004, and is open to all eligible Suppliers.
3.Interested eligible Suppliers may obtain further information from Project Coordinator, Guyana Skills Development and Employability Project, Ministry of Education,109 Barima Avenue, Bel Air Park, Georgetown on telephone number 227-3533.
4.All bids must be accompanied by Valid Business Registration, NIS & GRA Compliance Certificates, TIN Certificate and VAT Registration.
6.Requests for bid document should be made by written application including email. Written applications must be clearly marked: “Supply of a 7-Seater vehicle to the Ministry of Education”, along with the name, address and contact information of the bidder for which Bidding Documents are being requested. Soft copy of bidding documents should be requested by email from the Project Coordinator, GSDEP, 227-3533, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.; however, Suppliers will have to print the bid documents at their expense. Note: Hard copy of Bidding documents are not available.
7.The tender must be enclosed in a plain sealed envelope bearing no identity of the Tenderer and must be clearly marked on the top, left hand corner “Tender for (Supply of a 7-seater Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) to the Ministry of Education). No electronic bidding will be permitted. Late bids will be rejected
8.All tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 9:00 on Tuesday 13th October, 2020. All bids will be opened in the presence of the Supplier(s) or their representative(s) who choose to attend.
