UG upgrading its language curriculum

The University of Guyana (UG) is holding consultations to enhance its language programmes to provide a more holistic learning experience for students. With a current enrollment of some 8,000 students, the University hopes to support language development from the primary through the tertiary level.
Today, at the University of Guyana’s ‘Consultation on Enhancing Language Programmes’, Minister of Education, Hon. Nicolette Henry said that there is a need for a paradigm shift around language learning in Guyana.
